Think Local Buy Local

For several years now, promoting the ethos of "Think Local Buy Local" has been a consistent message. Many campaigns encourage shoppers to prioritise local businesses in their shopping choices.

As a business owner, there are also a variety of programs in which you can actively participate each year.

Be the Face of Your Place

We want to hear about the unique precincts in our municipality.

What makes your shopping strip or industrial precinct special? Why do you love your community?

View stories about business owners and what makes their business and precinct unique!

If you’d like to be the face of your place and share your love of your precinct with our community, please reach out to the Investment and Economic Development Unit at business@whitehorse.vic.gov.au

Are you a Trader Association with Seasonal Promotions?

Council is inviting local trader associations and precinct centres to submit an Expression of Interest to feature their seasonal promotions on Council’s website commencing in 2026.

Links to promotions will be shared on Council’s Think Local Buy Local page, giving precincts extra visibility across our community.

If your Association has a precinct website and would like to be considered , please get in touch with the Investment and Economic Development team via business@whitehorse.vic.gov.au
