In August last year, Keegan and Lor, the owners of Café Kahvila reached out to Council's Business Support Advisor to discuss their exciting new business idea.

After several years working in the IT industry, Keegan had a vision to open a café, featuring a delicious range of sandwiches and amazing coffee, made with locally sourced ingredients. 

To help bring this vision to life, they worked closely with Council’s Business Support Advisor, who acts a single point of contact for new and expanding businesses. As the proposal required input from several regulatory teams, the Business Support Advisor coordinated the necessary information and guided the owners through each step of the process.

Café Kahvila officially opened its doors in February and has quickly become a valued part of the Box Hill North community. We wish Keegan and Lor every success as Café Kahvila continues to grow and thrive, and we encourage everyone to visit and support this wonderful new business.
